After this, Unearthed has lined up some of the best Craft beer brewery tours that Cape Town has to offer both the novice and the experienced beer connoisseur. We will take you all over Cape Town, stopping at each to learn the art of brewing to the infusion of the ingredients. We will end the day at one of the top sites with a tour of the Afro – Caribbean Brewery, where you may sample over one hundred craft beers, and enjoy some of the best food paring to bring out the hops. Cape Town

Cederberg Mountains

From Cape Town the majestic and rugged Cederberg mountains are only 2½ hours’ drive north from the city. The area has a spectacular mountain landscape and is a treasure house of rock art and has a rich botanical diversity, being part of the Cape Floral Kingdom. A major portion is a proclaimed Wilderness Area that recently obtained World Heritage status. There are over 100 species of birds and the rare mountain leopard watches your every move as you take your two days in this unspoiled area.

Your first day will begin with an early arrival and from there settling into camp. You will start with your days hike into the Cederberg and up to the “Maltese Cross” and back down to the Stadsaal Cave formation, where you will see the bushman cave paintings.

This is a moderate walk and will suit the beginner to intermediate walker.

From there it’s back to camp for a night under the stars and a good old South African Braai.

After breakfast it’s a leisurely walk around the reserve and then back down to Cape Town.

Cape Town

Langebaan Lagoon

Your day starts by being collected from your hotel in Cape Town. Then it’s a one-hour drive in your air-conditioned people carrier, north along the R27 or West Coast road as it’s more commonly known, to the closest skydiving drop zone to South Africa’s tourism capital. This boasts one of the best views in the world from altitude.

During your ascent on your tandem skydive, the view is breathtaking. To the south, the city bowl lies sandwiched between towering Table Mountain and bustling Table Bay harbor. Further south, and to the far side of the mountain, lies False Bay, Hout Bay and the splendor of the South Peninsula as far as Cape Point. To the west, you will spot Robben Island.

Your qualified master instructors will make sure that your skydive dream becomes a reality.

From there it´s back on the road and further up the coast to Langabaan Lagoon.   You will find yourself in some of the most peaceful areas of the Cape and some of the most untouched coast. Your instructor-led course will give you the best Sup-ing experience.  With the diverse marine life in the bay, there is a good chance of sighting dolphins, Cape Fur Seals or even Southern Right Whales on your excursion.

After all that excitement, we start our way back down to Cape Town but make a “Hop” stop on the tour.

On this part, you will taste some of the finest Craft Beers that Cape Town has to offer, as well as the pairing of different foods. If you are in luck a South African Braai is sometimes happening at the Brewery.
